Using food safe epoxy resin and inspired by the colours of the Native forests of Australia and the Ocean water as it rolls onto the beautiful Australian sandy beaches, the Artist has allowed the resin, while pouring, to free flow, resembling the free flowing movement of the forests and oceans.Once the resin is poured the Artist heats the resin with a blow torch to spread the colours creating unique patterns and designs. This process may create small indentations and variations in the finished design due to the effects of the heat process. This is a natural result of creating a custom, yet fully functional, work of art with resin, with its own unique markings. For this reason each artwork is unique and no 2 are ever the same, making them not only a beautiful serving platter to entertain with or display, but indeed a collector’s item as well
Care Instructions: We recommend that you hand wash your board and knife with warm soapy water only (Never use hot water on the resin), and re oil the board with coconut oil every couple of months or as required. This will help to maintain its seasoned state, stopping the wood from drying out completely and becoming more susceptible to warping, cracking, staining and absorbing odours.
